Assalamu’laikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh. Hello everyone, today i would like to share my 2nd project that is… poster project that i made in Affinity.

The poster was created using Affinity with the theme “Commemorating Heroes’ Day.” The design uses a combination of red, white, black, gray, and gold colors to create a strong nationalistic atmosphere and represent the spirit of Indonesian heroes. In the center of the poster, there is a historical portrait of a national hero placed inside a gold-colored frame, making it the main focal point. The dark red patterned background and layered paper elements also create depth and make the composition more dynamic.

Several tools in Affinity were used to create and arrange the composition. The Pen Tool was used to create precise lines and custom shapes, while the Node Tool was used to adjust and refine the points of the objects. The Shape Tool was used to create basic geometric elements, such as rectangles for the text areas and decorative elements. The Brush Tool was used to create additional artistic effects, while the Fill Tool was used to apply colors and gradients to different objects. The Image feature was used to insert the historical photograph and other visual elements into the poster.

The poster contains several visual details, including the large “Memperingati” title at the top, the “Hari” text inside a red box, and several decorative text elements surrounding the main photograph. The hero’s portrait is positioned in the center with a golden frame to emphasize its importance. Red-and-white elements resembling the Indonesian flag are placed at the bottom, while transparent curved shapes create an additional visual layer across the composition. The combination of shadows, transparency, tilted objects, decorative patterns, and red-and-white colors makes the poster look more layered and visually engaging while expressing a sense of nationalism, respect, and appreciation for Indonesian heroes.
